VM i flaggfotboll närmar sig med stormsteg och det är dags att nominera Sveriges representanter.
Introduktion från IFAF
The 2026 IFAF Flag Football World Championships will be a landmark event with the champions securing the title of World Champion and two teams in each category gaining their berths at the Olympic Games Los Angeles 2028 in line with the published qualification process.
Central to the successful delivery of the Championships will be the International Technical Officials that will take charge of officiating the games.
IFAF is pleased to invite nominations for referees to officiate at the IFAF World Championships in Dusseldorf, Germany.
This prestigious event brings together the highest levels of talent, professionalism, and sporting behaviour from around the world, and we are seeking experienced and dedicated officials who uphold the integrity of the game.
We welcome nominations of individuals who demonstrate exceptional knowledge, fairness, and commitment to excellence, and who are prepared to contribute to the success of this world-class competition.
As part of the nomination and selection process, ITOs will be expected to commit not only to officiating at the Championships, but also to participating in a comprehensive preparation programme. This includes engaging in both online and on-site education and training, as well as undertaking fitness testing.
These requirements reflect IFAF’s commitment to establishing and maintaining clear benchmarks for elite ITO performance, supporting the continued development of world-class officiating standards for the future.

Resa, boende och måltider kommer att bekostas av IFAF.
Det enda sättet at bli utvald som domare till VM är genom denna nominering. Domare måste vara tillgängliga i Dusseldorf från Måndag 10-16/8.

19 april kl. 23:59.
Urvalsprocessen
Alla utvalda domare förväntas delta på ett antal “pre-championship meetings” som kommer hållas online och kommer täcka: integritet, IFAF:s värderingar, mästerskaps operativa struktur och procedur, trygghet och välfärd, hälsa och träning.
Väl på plats kommer domare att delta i en personlig utvärdering som kommer användas för att skapa ett “benchmark data” för framtida domarutbildningar och urvalsprocessen till Los Angeles 2028.
Denna utvärdering kommer titta på:
- Technical competence.
- Game management and decision-making.
- Physical fitness and readiness.
- Commitment to development and education.
För att vara en möjlig kandidat behövs:
- En god relation med sitt förbund.
- Godkänd domarlicens på högst nivå (i Sverige har vi bara en nivå).
- Erfarenhet av att döma flaggfotboll på hög nivå (nationellt mästerskap, IFAF-mästerskap, eller andra utvalda evenmang som World Games).
- Förmåga att kommunicera på engelska.
- En god fysik som tillåter att döma på elitnivå.
